Proposal for ApeChain Integration with Rainbow Wallet

The proposal details a plan for Rainbow Studio, Inc. to integrate ApeChain as a fully supported network into Rainbow wallet products. This integration aims to minimize user friction and boost ApeChain adoption by offering exceptional wallet experiences for all users.

1.1 Proposal Summary

Rainbow Studio, Inc. ("Rainbow") can significantly enhance the user experience for all potential users of ApeChain ("ApeChain"), driving greater adoption and user experience. We look forward to collaborating with ApeChain and contributing to its success.

1.2 The Problem

Building a platform does not guarantee user adoption. Chains are willing to pay massive costs to build out infrastructure and incentivize dApp builders; however, the wallet experience for end-users remains a blocker for adoption.

Current wallet solutions, like MetaMask, require too much user friction for wider adoption:

• Users need to manually add chain RPCs.
• Only ETH balance shows up by default.
• Users must manually add token contracts to track balances and view NFTs.
• Even after connecting contracts, NFT and token metadata is limited and unreliable.
• Users cannot add custom networks in the MetaMask mobile app.

These challenges create friction and limit the overall user experience.

1.3 The Opportunity

Rainbow offers superior support across our Browser Extension, Mobile App, and RainbowKit. As other new networks continue to accept the subpar experience of MetaMask by default, ApeChain can stand out in its launch with Rainbow's elevated user experience that everyone can use and take full advantage of ApeChain's use cases.

• Payment: 50 ETH for project execution of the scope covered in this proposal.
